This document outlines the terms and conditions for participation in the Yolo.cx Metaverse Engineering Internship Program (the Program). As a volunteer intern, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our open web metaverse by collaborating with us to develop and test the prototype.

We aim to create a space where interns and administrators can work together to cultivate the Yolo.cx metaverse.

Program Overview

This program is currently offered during the pre-production phase of the Yolo.cx metaverse. There is no set deadline for the program's end. You can volunteer for as long as you'd like and stop whenever you choose. Formal termination by you or the program administrators is not required.

Program Goals

• Gather valuable feedback from users on the prototype.
• Identify and address bugs and usability issues.
• Creatively explore the potential of the metaverse through world building and content creation.
• Generate ideas for future development.

Intern Responsibilities

• Become familiar with the Yolo.cx metaverse: This includes understanding the current features and functionalities of the Work-in-Progress (WIP) UI and world mechanics.
• World Building: You'll have the opportunity to create new and exciting virtual worlds within the Yolo.cx metaverse.
• Content Creation: Upload media to populate your worlds and craft unique environments.
• Idea Generation: Share your thoughts and suggestions for improvement through the internal communication and idea submission system.
• Bug Testing: Actively participate in testing the platform to identify and report bugs using the designated bug reporting system.
• Communication and Availability: Maintain an active presence during a typical work week for at least 8 hours. Be prepared to undertake specific tasks and tests assigned through the internal task system.

Benefits for Interns

• Early Access to New Features: Volunteer interns will have the opportunity to access and test new features before they are released to the public, providing valuable insights and feedback.
• Recognition for Contributions: Interns who make significant contributions to the development and improvement of the Yolo.cx metaverse will be recognized and acknowledged for their efforts.
• Letters of Recommendation: Upon successful completion of the internship program (completion is defined by your continued participation), interns may request letters of recommendation from the program administrators, which can be valuable assets for future academic or career pursuits.

Intellectual Property Rights

• Ownership of Creations: Any virtual worlds, content, or discoveries created by interns during the internship program will be owned by Yolo.cx, with interns retaining personal rights to use their creations for personal or portfolio purposes.
• IP Ownership Rights: By participating in the program, interns agree to grant Yolo.cx the intellectual property rights to any creations or discoveries made during the internship, allowing for their integration into the Yolo.cx metaverse platform.

Disclaimers

• Experimental Project: The Yolo.cx metaverse is under development and inherently experimental. This means there's a possibility of encountering instability or unforeseen issues. We cannot guarantee the complete preservation of your creations, messages, or code, whether due to accidental errors or deliberate actions.
• Implementation of Volunteer Work: The administrators have the final say regarding the implementation of any features or suggestions arising from the volunteer work. There's no guarantee that your contributions will be incorporated into the platform in their entirety, partially, or at all.
• Feature Decisions: The administrators hold the authority to decide whether proposed features become part of Yolo.cx.
• Termination of Participation: We reserve the right to terminate an intern's participation in the program at any time without prior disclosure, especially in cases of violation of the program guidelines.
• Agreement Termination: Any breach of this agreement will result in the termination of your internship role.

Dispute Resolution

In the unlikely event of a dispute arising from this program, we will strive to resolve it amicably through open communication.
